Profile: The deep black, purple wine coats the glass with every swirl. Notes of dark chocolate, plums, and black cherries fill the nose, while hints of graphite and ore-like minerality get the senses going. This ripe wine is fresh and perfumy with a multi-faceted flavor core of currants, cassis, crushed stones, bittersweet chocolate, and earthy spice. The refined but powerful tannins are chewy and rich and keep the finishing notes of vanilla bean, tobacco box, and black raspberry going on and on.
